Red Mountain Energy Launches Sixteen Compressor Plants in Ukraine

This September, 2011, Red Mountain Energy finalized a setup and commissioning project to put into operation 16 Ajax compressor plants which were supplied in 2009.

The compressor plants are located at the Ukranian gas fields of Lviv, Poltava and Kharkiv. The equipment was installed at booster compressor stations and is designed to pump raw natural gas to be used as a fuel.

At the gas field facilities, the Red Mountain Energy installed equipment to ensure the stability of raw gas fed into the pipeline.

The launch of compressor units will allow Ukraine to increase its gas production by 900 million cubic meters a year. At present, in Ukraine, there are 28 Ajax compressor plants in operation installed and commissioned by Red Mountain Energy.
