DENIS SMYSLOV, Chairman of the Board
Denis Smyslov is Chairman of the Board, responsible for the development of new technologies, and for business expansion worldwide. Denis graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) in 1989. He has diplomas in executive management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, USA, and from the London Business School; he has also completed several engineering courses in natural gas upstream and downstream, and power generation. Thanks to his tireless energy and world vision, Denis has transformed Red Mountain Energy into a global enterprise.

JACK KENNY, President and CEO
Jack Kenny is President and CEO. He is also a co-founder of Secure Energy Inc., a company based in St.Louis, Missouri, USA, which is engaged in the development of coal gasification projects. Before he co-founded Secure Energy, Jack had 25 years’ experience in securities and investment banking. He has advised numerous start-ups and companies in the early stages of development, helping them work through corporate structuring and financial and general business issues which are critical for their success. Jack has a law degree from Laclede School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University.

LARS SCOTT, Executive Vice President
Lars Scott is Executive Vice President. He has over 20 years’ experience in project development, finance and engineering. Lars is a co-founder of Secure Energy, Inc., a US based coal gasification project development company. He was a former employee of Peabody Energy where his assignments included mergers and acquisitions, coal sales, mining decision support, power generation development, government policy and coal technology development. Lars has a Master of Business Administration in finance from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in civil engineering from Kansas State University.

BILL DETHLOFF, Vice President for Gas Processing
Bill Dethloff is Vice President for gas processing. He has 38 years’ experience, developing business in gas processing throughout the world. Bill is a former director of international business development at Linde BOC Process Plants, a former director of Hanover Compression in the Middle East, and a former Vice President of Kvaerner Membrane systems. Bill is a mechanical engineering graduate of Lehigh University, Pennsylvania. He is currently living in the Middle East.

STEVE TODARO, Director of Compressor Engineering
Steve Todaro is Director of compression engineering. He is responsible for the selection and sourcing of positive displacement compressors and prime movers, and for the design of compressor packages and compressor stations. Steve has over 35 years’ experience in engineering, applications, sales and marketing of gas compression machinery. He was Vice President of engineering for Weatherford Compression and Gemini Compressors and has worked for Caterpillar, Dresser-Rand and Gardner Denver. Steve has a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor degree in civil law from Loyola University in New Orleans.

PETER LUDKOVSKIY, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Peter Ludkovskiy is Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Peter graduated from the Moscow State Technical University of Radio-engineering, Electronics and Automation with a Bachelor’s degree in technical science. Peter has worked for international companies such as Toshiba, Dalva Consulting and ALUP GUS. In 2008 he joined Red Mountain Energy. As head of sales and marketing Peter is focused on increasing sales and winning new contracts. Other aspects of his work include market research and analysis of industry trends, developing new products, and building sustainable relationships with suppliers and customers. Peter heads several internal departments and regional offices.

ALBERT SOULTANOV, Director of Engineering
Albert Soultanov is Director of Engineering. In 2003 he graduated from Kazan State Technology University with a Master of Science in chemical engineering. From 2004 to 2010 Albert taught at Kazan State Technology University in the department chemical technology, oil and gas processing and did his PhD on processing heavy crudes and natural bitumens at the same university. At the same time he was actively involved in the development and industrial application of technologies for associated petroleum gas, crude oils and natural bitumens processing. Albert is the author of four patents in the field of oil and gas processing.

NADEZHDA SEROVA, Chief HR and Administration Officer
Nadezhda Serova is Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer. Nadezhda graduated from Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Norwegian-Russian School of Business Administration, NORMAN. She has 15 years’ experience in HR, the last 5 at managerial positions. She has worked in Human Resources for large foreign companies such as Dirol Cadbury and Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals. Nadezhda is responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategy for Red Mountain Energy, and for corporate culture. She is instrumental in the management of the pay and reward system. Nadezhda provides guidance and advice to senior management with respect to HR and administration matters.

SERGEY STRUNKOV, Chief Legal Officer
Sergey Strunkov is Chief Legal Officer. Sergey has a PhD in law from the Saratov State Law Academy. He teaches a course in “Arbitration Process” at the Financial University under the Government of Russian Federation. For over 12 years he has worked as an attorney, corporate lawyer and lecturer, representing the interests of oil companies such as LUKOIL, Rusneftekhim and Nadymneftegas. He has published over 30 scientific books and research papers on law. Sergey is responsible for corporate governance and oversee all contracts and tenders. As a member of the Executive Team he provides guidance and advice to senior management on all legal issues.
