Red Mountain Energy has joined forces with CBM Partners Corporation, a US based drilling and production company located in Flora Vista, New Mexico. 

Over 35 Years Experience 

CBM Partners has over 35 years experience in oil and gas production, including coal bed methane production. The company strategy is to apply its extensive experience in producing CBM in the USA to other international markets where CBM reserves are large and energy demand is high and growing. We are building a portfolio of coal bed methane gas resources primarily in India, China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the United States.

The New Schramm TX130XD Hydraulic Top Drive Drill Rig

We will drill using our very own latest technologies including our new Schramm TX130XD hydraulic top drive drill rig and our latest equipment, which is fully mobilized. The Schramm rig has a 130,000 pound pullback capability with a spindal lock for complete directional control. The rig also has a trailer mounted, fully automatic pipe handling system giving us the safety edge over many other companies. 

Russia is in urgent need of coal bed methane extraction.

CBM Partners is pursuing mine degassing and coal bed methane production in the Kemerovo region, Siberia.

Safety

The main issue here is safety. Over the years Russia has seen a tragic loss of life through underground mine explosions. Our long experience has taught us that preliminary degassing before mining operations must be followed by underground degassing during mining operations, in order for the mines to be safe. CBM Partners has the latest technology developed over three decades.

CBM is a Useful Gas

Another problem is the flaring of methane gas which is wasteful and bad for the environment. We have the resources to end this practice.
