Air separation

The separation of air is a basic commercial technique for the production of the two main industrial gases (oxygen and nitrogen) as gases and sometimes as liquid products. Both nitrogen and oxygen are widely used in the steel and chemical industries and in many other industrial spheres. Some air separation plants also produce argon and occasionally, the “rare gases” (neon, krypton and xenon).

Today the most widely used air separation processes are cryogenic, adsorption and membrane (non-cryogenic). Accordingly there are cryogenic, adsorption and membrane industrial air separation plants.

Red Mountain Energy offers a wide range of air separation plants (ASPs) which are simple to operate, fully automatic and tailored to the customer’s needs. We stand at the forefront of air separation technology focusing on: efficiency, reliability, modular design which facilitates installation, easy operation and advanced control system.

ASPs from Red Mountain Energy are of the highest quality and varying complexity. The scope of supply might include compressors, cooling towers, cryogenic storage vessels and gas distribution equipment. We offer our customers a wide range of services including engineering design, supervision of installation, commissioning, personnel training and aftermarket support.

Today we have implemented more than 30 air separation projects, from small scale individual air separation units to large scale air separation plants with extensive infrastructure.

Red Mountain Energy has developed long term partnerships with leading manufacturers of air separation equipment. Our equipment is of the highest quality and based on the latest technology; it meets the most stringent international standards of safety and excellence. Also, we provide certificates and permits as required by the country where the plant is to be installed.
